Anna Fiori is currently one of the most important references in Mexican metal; with 2 full-length albums, 3 alternate project albums and more than 10 special collaborations. Her magnificent voice and compositions, along with her powerful and gentle presence have earned her a safe place on the playlists of anyone who listens to her.

Thanks to the success of her second album In Ohtli Tonalli, she began concerts in different parts of Mexico, as well as a tour in Latin America that led her to perform at festivals such as Force Fest and Domination; for the latter he inaugurated the main stage.
Now, Anna Fiori, before presenting us her next metal album, is back to celebrate her 9 years of experience with a very special EP.

This album is quite a semi-acoustic journey with a combination of different instruments from the past and the present; takes us through the lyrics at extremely melancholic moments and a mixture of sensations between warm and dark that undoubtedly makes it an experience worthy of introspection. So when you have it in your hands: Get away from the world, put on your headphones and let yourself be carried away by Anna Fiori's sublime speech.

When you listen to it, you will understand what we are talking about, for now we are about to tell you the details of each song.
"Cehualli", which means shadow in Nahuatl, in itself, is already a whole journey; a worthy opening that will lead you to sensitize yourself and prepare yourself for the sea of emotions that you will experience in the following songs. The duality between light and darkness will be present in this song; the mix between the past and the present will accompany you to discover a message of transcendence where every decision matters.
“De la tierra”, the second song on this album, will go through every layer of armor you may have; It is inevitable, the song begins in a very sweet way and little by little it drags you to the darkest place that you hide from yourself: the only place where you will find a surprise like no other.

In the next song "Never" applies the phrase "less is more"; In just one minute and 46 seconds, Anna delights us with her amazing vocal technique in a completely theatrical setting.
We continue with “Bajo la Tempestad” that literally takes you flying over the landscapes of your choice; in our case, it took us through the vastness of the sea. Migration and transformation seem to be an important part of the message that “De la Tierra (un semiaacoustic encounter)” conveys and is permeating with nostalgia in the sounds of this song.

Since the tracklist of this album was announced, one of the focuses of attention was fixed on the most played song on Anna Fiori's Spotify; we are referring to the first single from his second album: the powerful song “Fuego Negro”. In its acoustic version we can find the rhythm to which we are so fond, even so, don't trust yourself and get ready to discover several surprises that this track has for you.

To close this wonderful EP, we came across another “old acquaintance”, song number 9 from her first album: “Renacer”. This number, Anna Fiori's favorite, is strongly reflected in various cultures; in the Mayan world it is sacred and is related to the Xibalbá (underworld) which had 9 levels; in him, the waters that generate life have their source. Thus 9 represents birth, death and resurrection.
This is how Anna Fiori decides to take us on this mystical journey, where she leads us to sensitize, confront, take refuge and be reborn in that atmosphere created by the wonderful musicians involved in the project: Severo Carranza (guitar arranger and performance in “Cehualli”), the cellist Idalia Luna, the participation of the producer Hiram del León (piano performance in “Bajo la Tempestad” and “De la Tierra”, mixing and mastering), Arturo Ferrante (piano), Ignacio Fontán Blanch (percussions), Juan Carrizo ( guitar and jarana), Markov (guitar) and Voltan (bass).
