Human :II: Nature es el título del noveno álbum de #Nightwish. La banda liderada por Tuomas Holopainen presenta un material discográfico que busca fusionar el #metalsinfónico con otros estilos musicales además de explotar la capacidad creativa de sus integrantes como la inclusión de #TroyDonockley en la parte vocal reforzando la dupla conformada por Floor Jansen y Marko Hietala sin menospreciar el trabajo de #EmppuVuorinen y #KaiHahto, que en conjunto crearon una serie de melodías cuyas temáticas se relacionaban con el ser humano y la naturaleza.
#Music es una canción que se compone en su gran mayoría por una composición instrumental que muestra en retrospectiva algunos elementos musicales de sus álbumes anteriores y que han contribuido en la formación de una identidad como banda. La atmósfera que crea esta canción aunado a la interpretación vocal de Floor Jansen te traslada a un lugar más allá de nuestra realidad generado a partir del cúmulo de sensaciones que se producen en el ser humano a través de la música.
El primer #sencillo promocional de este álbum es #Noise que realiza una crítica social con respecto al empleo de los dispositivos móviles y los efectos negativos que causan a la humanidad. Es una canción que rescata la esencia del rock sinfónico de Nightwish en los últimos años en la que Floor Jansen destaca por su interpretación vocal yendo de tonos graves a agudos sin dificultad alguna.
#Shoemaker es una de las canciones más completas de este álbum presentando cambios abruptos de sonido que denotan diferentes sensaciones al oyente. En palabras de Floor Jansen es una canción inspirada en el astrogeólogo de origen estadounidense Eugene Shoemaker cuya atmósfera creada por la banda en términos instrumentales nos recrea una imagen del espacio describiendo cómo parte de las cenizas de este científico fueron llevadas a la luna a través de la sonda especial Lunar Prospector. Marko Hietala y Troy Donockley constituyen el acompañamiento vocal que contrasta con la voz de Floor Jansen.
A manera de interludio se presenta Harvest que constituye el segundo sencillo promocional de la banda y que muestra a Troy Donockley en las voces. La primera parte de la canción se aleja del sonido característico de Nightwish, sin embargo, es un intento algo arriesgado de experimentar con otros géneros musicales y que al final retoma esa esencia del rock sinfónico con algunas influencias #folk. El estribillo de la canción es reforzado por las voces de Marko Hietala y Floor Jansen, es una canción interesante donde la agrupación finlandesa sale de su zona de confort y nos habla acerca del significado que le damos a nuestras vidas.
#TuomasHolopainen a través de los acordes del teclado nos introduce a Pan, como si se tratara de una segunda parte de este álbum también se resaltan los acordes del bajo de #MarkoHietala. Esta canción podría recordarnos a la época en la que Nightwish figuró como una de las promesas del metal sinfónico con algunos elementos teatrales como la interpretación del coro y los diferentes rangos vocales de Floor Jansen. Es una canción que combina pasado y presente creando una propuesta musical interesante cuya temática nos permite reflexionar sobre cómo nuestras acciones impactan a quiénes se encuentran a nuestro alrededor.
How’s the heart? es una canción que combina el metal sinfónico con algunos elementos folk y que aborda esa necesidad que tenemos los seres humanos de sentir empatía y afecto hacia los otros. Floor Jansen destaca por el empleo de voces melódicas que combinan a la perfección con el acompañamiento de Troy Donockley y Marko Hietala.
Procession es una canción que se inspira en la serie Stranger Things y generando escalofríos en el oyente pues la instrumentación va más allá de la voz melódica de Floor Jansen y en la que podemos apreciar a cada uno de los integrantes dar muestra en la ejecución de sus instrumentos a nivel técnico. Es una canción que definitivamente nos obliga a reflexionar sobre nuestras acciones para mejorar el entorno en el que vivimos.
Tribal es otra de las canciones que llama la atención de este álbum pues se alejan por completo de las raíces del metal sinfónico mostrando un sonido con influencias árabes y africanas destacando la ejecución del bajo y la batería sobre los demás instrumentos musicales. Floor Jansen da muestra de su capacidad vocal pasando de un rango lírico al empleo de los guturales tratando de evocar los cantos tradicionales de las culturales del denominado continente negro.
La canción que cierra este álbum se llama Endlessness y comienza con los acordes de la guitarra y el acompañamiento de la orquesta como si se tratara de una balada, pero su sonido se torna más agresivo en la que Marko Hietala hace empleo de ese rango vocal agudo que le caracteriza y en la parte intermedia es Floor Jansen quien hace uso de su voz lírica añadiéndole mayor dramatismo y culminando este álbum cantando ambos al unísono. Un cierre magistral.
Nightwish ha presentado un álbum sólido en términos de composición musical y lírica que despiertan en el oyente un cúmulo de emociones que nos obligan a reflexionar sobre nuestra existencia encajando a la perfección en estos tiempos difíciles. Human :II: Nature ha permitido a la banda regresar a sus raíces y reinventarse al explorar con diferentes sonidos y géneros musicales. Este material promete ser unos de los mejores trabajos presentados en lo que llevamos en este año.

Y como bien lo dijo Floor Jansen tanto el video como el proyecto que ellos eligieron esta basado en la Reserva de la Sierra Gorda en México.

Human: II: Nature is the title of Nightwish's ninth album. The band led by Tuomas Holopainen presents a record material that seeks to merge symphonic metal with other musical styles in addition to exploiting the creative capacity of its members such as the inclusion of Troy Donockley in the vocal part, reinforcing the duo formed by Floor Jansen and Marko Hietala without belittle the work of Emppu Vuorinen and Kai Hahto, who together created a series of melodies whose themes were related to human beings and nature.
Music is a song that is composed for the most part by an instrumental composition that shows in retrospect some musical elements from their previous albums and that have contributed to the formation of an identity as a band. The atmosphere that this song creates together with the vocal interpretation of Floor Jansen transports you to a place beyond our reality generated from the accumulation of sensations that occur in humans through music.
The first promotional single for this album is Noise, which carries out a social criticism regarding the use of mobile devices and the negative effects they cause to humanity. It is a song that rescues the essence of Nightwish symphonic rock in recent years in which Floor Jansen stands out for his vocal performance going from low to high tones without any difficulty.
Shoemaker is one of the most complete songs on this album, presenting abrupt changes in sound that denote different sensations to the listener. In the words of Floor Jansen it is a song inspired by the American-born astrogeologist Eugene Shoemaker whose atmosphere created by the band in instrumental terms recreates an image of space describing how part of this scientist's ashes were carried to the moon through the Lunar Prospector special probe. Marko Hietala and Troy Donockley constitute the vocal accompaniment that contrasts with Floor Jansen's voice.
As an interlude, Harvest is presented, which is the second promotional single for the band and shows Troy Donockley in the voices. The first part of the song departs from the characteristic sound of Nightwish, however, it is a somewhat risky attempt to experiment with other musical genres and that in the end takes up that essence of symphonic rock with some folk influences. The chorus of the song is reinforced by the voices of Marko Hietala and Floor Jansen, it is an interesting song where the Finnish group comes out of their comfort zone and talks to us about the meaning we give to our lives.
Tuomas Holopainen through the keyboard chords introduces us to Pan, as if it were a second part of this album the bass chords of Marko Hietala are also highlighted. Tribal is another of the songs that catches the attention of this album because they completely move away from the roots of symphonic metal, showing a sound with Arab and African influences, highlighting the performance of bass and drums over other musical instruments. Floor Jansen shows his vocal ability going from a lyrical range to the use of gutturals trying to evoke the traditional songs of the cultural ones of the so-called black continent.
The song that closes this album is called Endlessness and begins with the chords of the guitar and the accompaniment of the orchestra as if it were a ballad, but its sound becomes more aggressive in which Marko Hietala makes use of that high vocal range. that characterizes him and in the middle part is Floor Jansen who makes use of his lyrical voice adding more drama and culminating this album singing both in unison. A masterful closing.
Nightwish has presented a solid album in terms of musical and lyrical composition that awaken in the listener a wealth of emotions that force us to reflect on our existence fitting perfectly into these difficult times. Human: II: Nature has allowed the band to return to its roots and reinvent itself by exploring with different sounds and musical genres. This material promises to be one of the best works presented so far this year.
